Matthew Newman Comedy

Matthew Newman is an actor, writer, comedian and a graduate of Emerson College class of 2015 with a BA in Screenwriting/Media Production.
From May 2022-2023 he performed sketch comedy every Sunday at the Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles, California as a member of their Sunday Company.

Description

From October 2025 until September 2026 Matthew will perform at Upright Citizens Brigade LA in the THE FACULTY group as part of MAUDE NIGHT. All teams, including The Faculty, will perform on December 17th Holiday Show.

On March 2, 2023 Matthew was part of the cast that kicked off the 30th anniversary of Cooking with Gas.

Matthew is also a founding member , writer and actor in the comedy troupe Flambè Comedy, a group that garnered 250,000 views on Funny or Die’s Facebook Live page.
